EXCEED MEDICAL MICRONEEDLING

The pen is taken over the area of skin to be treated, and tiny needles cause minute punctures to the skin. These small punctures stimulate the body’s inherent healing response, which naturally rejuvenates the skin.

For general skin rejuvenation and anti-aging concerns we would recommend a course of 3 treatments 1 per month.

For deeper set wrinkles, advanced photo ageing, and scarring of the skin we would recommend a course of 6 treatments taken on a monthly basis depending on the skins ability to heal

You will see a plumping effect almost immediately, however the natural healing process takes time, so it can take a few weeks before you see significant results. The process will continue over the following months.

After your treatment, your skin will appear red and flushed, this may look and feel like sunburn. The redness will usually calm within a few hours though this can take up to 48 hours.

Your skin may be quite dry with some flaking and blotchy areas for a few days following the treatment.

SPF50 should be worn daily following your treatment.

Using the Exceed we find this device is more comfortable than standard micro needling devices due to the unique ergonomic design of the tip and also the speed. Though a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin prior to the treatment to ensure the treatment is as comfortable as possible for you.
